Programa académico

Mode of delivery: Part time. Blended learning involving  lectures (usually delivered via distance learning), tutorials and practice-based learning (under consultant supervision)

Duration: From 4 years part time

Intake:  Approximately 12 per year

  • We welcome applications from candidates interested in our course who have the skills and capability to excel.  All candidates are considered on an individual basis based on their qualifications, experience, references and motivation.
  • You must be a Registered UK Pharmacist and support from your employer / references will be required.
  • For further information about the eligibility requirements please contact the course director.
  • Applicants whose first language is not English will be required to provide evidence of an English language qualification. English language test requirements may be waived where students’ undergraduate degree was studied in an English speaking country. Find out more about our English language requirements.

Applicants with alternative qualifications may wish to enquire with the relevant admissions teams prior to application whether or not their qualifications are deemed acceptable.   • Annual fees for taught components are based on the number of credits taken per year. 
  • £550 for a 10 credit module. 
  • The Research Project Fee is £8,400 split over 3 years.

  • Full approval for prior learning available for holders of relevant postgraduate diplomas or degrees
  • Taught component (maximum of one-third) can be tailored to student / employer requirements
  • Research training provided leading to supported relevant research in chosen field (two-thirds of programme)
  • Appropriate for aspiring advanced or consultant level pharmacists
  • Interim awards available (e.g. MSc)
  • Clinical modules (optional) taught in practice setting.
