Ear, Nose and Throat as a specialty has undergone some major changes and advances in the past five years with an increasing move to shorter hospital stays, leading to more acute patients and day care surgery.For healthcare professionals there are new areas of practice with the formation of practitioner lead clinics, nurse prescribing, the changing role of community nurses and increased autonomous practice.This module seeks to reflect these changes and advances to support you in this fast changing health care environment...........................................................................................................................................................................This is a Nursing Studies top-up degree programme module.
