Programa académico

In Year 1 you will build a solid grounding in the fundamentals of healthcare science through carefully structured modules, and also develop essential communication skills so that you can deal sensitively with patients who have critical needs.

These specialist communication skills will help you to effectively work alongside key partners, including prosthetists, orthotists, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, social workers, specialist nurses, doctors and equipment manufacturers. In Year 2 and 3 you will focus on the theory and practice of rehabilitation engineering and combine mathematical theory with engineering and mechanics.
