The main formative objective of the Master Course in Fashion Design is to acquire an in-depth knowledge of the fashion sector in all of its aspects, through an integrated approach between creative, cultural, productive marketing and communication aspects.
1.The first months are dedicated to the basic training of the students with the analysis of the complex distribution system, trade fairs and manufacturing processes. 2. In the following months start the projects in collaboration with companies and fashion designers. 3. At the end of the this second phase the companies that have taken part in the project seminars select a number of students who produced interesting results to follow them in the final Master thesis.
4. The final Master project is presented to the Examination board during the last months.

The course addresses young undergraduates from schools specialized in Fashion, graduates in Fashion Design, Architecture, Public Relation, Art Schools who want to develop their professionalism and to all those who have an appropriate background to the Fashion field in terms of interests and professional background There is limited number of places on the course and participants will be selected on the basis of the documentation requested for admission. Good knowledge of the English language is also required.

Programa académico

The course starts in January and finishes in December. Its teaching structure consists of a series of project seminars,which are changing over the years, covering all the issues useful to train a complete designer. The first months are dedicated to the basic training of the students with the analysis of the complex distribution system, trade fairs and manufacturing processes. Students are asked to work on design methodologies and the knowledge of the territory and of the Italian Fashion System, through two project seminars developed in collaboration with professionals. In the following months start the projects in collaboration with companies and fashion designers. At the end of the this second phase the companies that have taken part in the project seminars select a number of students who produced interesting results to follow them in the final Master thesis. The final Master project is presented to the Examination board during the last months.
