Course overview

BSc (Hons) Property and Surveying shares common themes with our other degrees in the surveying disciplines, but what sets this course apart is its degree of flexibility. In years two and three you will be able to choose from a wide range of course options allowing you to focus on areas of particular interest or on the requirements of a favoured career.

As a property and surveying professional, you may be required to work not only on new developments but also on the refurbishment of existing buildings, possibly including historic and listed sites. Working in such a capacity, your responsibilities might well include having to advise on legal issues and procurement and contractual arrangements as well as environmental and financial aspects. The content of this course reflects the wide range of areas of responsibility for practicing professionals.
